Sometimes there is a brief moment just before a word is articulated as a word, a small click or sound that comes just before the word takes shape. As if it were a brief moment of thought. A moment when the voice is simply a voice. The voice has a certain volume, a certain body. The voice creates a resonance through the upper body and the throat. The voice emerges from the shaping of the words in her mouth, and then she places them right there in front of her, within a fairly close distance from her. She touches the words with her hand, as if the words were concrete objects. They are there, there, there, and there.
